Entry Requirements
This is not set by the CIPD and would vary depending on your chosen study centres own entry criteria.
Duration
An Award qualification (15 credits) is a total of 150 study hours of which 75 hours should be private study. On average it can take anything from 3 - 6 months depending on your chosen study centre and your mode of study.
Level
This qualification is at Advanced level which is equivalent to postgraduate level. This is comparable to Level 7 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) in England, Level 9 in Ireland, Level 11 in Scotland and the European Qualifications framework (EQF) Level 7.

Membership
There is no requirement for you to come into membership while you study a CIPD Advanced Level Award qualification. You will, however, be required to pay a registration fee to the CIPD when registering on the qualification. Should you require a CIPD level of professional membership you will need to study a CIPD Certificate or Diploma qualification in order to gain Associate professional membership.
