Entry Requirements
This is not set by the CIPD and would vary depending on your chosen study centres own entry criteria.
Duration
A Certificate qualification (32 credits) is a total of 320 study hours of which 160 hours should be private study. On average it can take 12 months to complete, however this will depend on your chosen study centre and your mode of study.
Level
This qualification is a Level 5 (equivalent to Undergraduate Level) on the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). This is comparable to Level 7 in Ireland, Level 9 in Scotland and the European Qualifications framework (EQF) Level 5.

Membership
If studying a Certificate qualification, you will need to join as a Student member throughout the duration of your studies. On successful completion of CIPD Advanced Certificate qualification, you will gain Associate professional membership.
